Sometimes when we feel stuck by the circumstances of life, its easy to feel defeated. In these times, when we try to think of something better, the mind argues with us “that’s not possible” “you can’t have that.”

But don’t stay there!

One way to stop your mind from arguing with you over what’s possible and getting your mind to help you expand the vision of what you want in life, is to pose the question: Wouldn’t it be great if…

This way, your mind can’t argue with you. It has to say, “yes that would be great!”

In this time of the Covid, I know many have been struggling. But what unexpected perks are you finding?

  • Some of us are taking more time to relax.
  • Some of us are using extra time to go for walks and focus on health.
  • Some of us may be rethinking our need for all the stuff we’ve accumulated.
  • Some of us perhaps for the first time are re-evaluating our lifestyles of overwork and overstress.
  • I can see many benefits from this global slowdown (I know there’s a lot of fallout too).

Transition is a great catalyst for helping you create more

Times of transition can be a great time to re-evaluate your lifestyle, how you spend your time and I hope you use this break to become more clear with what you want out of life. I like to play the game, Wouldn’t it be great if….(if you ask it as a question, your mind can’t argue with you – lol.)

  • Wouldn’t it be great if people working from home continued cutting down on traffic and improving air quality?
  • Wouldn’t it be great if business realized people are more productive for 6 hours a day, so we all moved to a 30 hour work week like France, and we had more time with friends and family?
  • Wouldn’t it be great if people working from home, businesses realize they don’t need office buildings and these extra buildings got replaced as community centers, community gardens and parks?
  • Wouldn’t it be great if people having more time at home used the extra time to grow and nurture gardens? Yes, I’m working on mine too!
  • What other “Wouldn’t it be greats” do you have for yourself or the community?

Let’s re-imagine our world, re-imagine our lives and maybe even our careers and how we are spending our time. Take time to re-imagine your life.

Everything in your man made life first started in someone’s mind: houses, concrete, carpet, cars, airplanes. We must imagine it before we create it, and so it is with your life, it all starts with your mind.

I wonder what more you can imagine for yourself? for your family? for your community?

Getting your brain to behave can be a process

If you’re brain is running habits, patterns and programs that are causing you depression, anxiety and defeatism, it’s time for an update for your unconscious mind. The unconscious mind, I also like to call it the automatic mind as its responsible for whatever is running automatically in the background.

If you’ve noticed your brain do worry, fear of the future, negative thinking, self criticism or depression or defeatism, its time for an upgrade. These are all habits – and the brain can learn new habits even quickly.

Start with the Initial Assessment: This session takes about an hour, we identify what habits and patterns your brain is running in the background and this gives us a roadmap of what to help the brain switch so you can get clear, build your inner energy and vitality and live powerfully.
