Easy Meditation Exercise to Clear Your Mind

I take meditation with me everywhere, its easy, its free and it doesn’t have to take hours. Even 5-10 minutes of meditation can alleviate stress, clear your mind, refocus your brain, lower your blood pressure and reset yourself.
The other day, I was watching an episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I was so impressed by the simple, easy to follow and clear explanation of clearing energy centers so that Aang, the main character, could achieve the “Avatar state”.
Its very heartening to see this in children’s cartoons. This series is really a treat with embedded wisdom and a quirky sense of humor. Do you have kids? It makes a great way to introduce your kids to meditation.
The next day, on my  commute, I just imagined sending energy through my chakras, imagined clearing out blockages, by the time I got to my office, I felt clear, centered and rebooted. (Don’t try this at home folks! Lol, I’ve been meditating for years and so I’ve learned to navigate multiple brain states while being awake and aware). I suggest giving yourself 10-20 minutes to go through this meditation-imagination exercise in a quiet place or with your kids, they love it.
