The news cycles are happening fast, everyday there’s some really big thing happening. I try not to watch the news, but its tough when you also want to stay informed.
It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of normal life, let alone all the national and world events.
And the stressful thoughts we experience affects our bodies physically.
When we get stressed and anxious, our muscles tense up which can lead to tightness, achiness and headaches.
When we get stressed, the body physically responds by releasing stress hormones of epinephrine and cortisol, which activate the fight or flight aspect of our nervous system.
Now all these stress hormones, have physical effects including cravings, stress eating, increasing hunger.
When we feel stressed, we experience scattered thinking, difficulty with focus and we find it hard to stay on task, thus we are also less productive.
Feeling stressed can also cause difficulty with decisions, self doubt and hesitations that lead to bigger consequences.
But there are a few key ways to get yourself out of this stress-anxiety emotional loop:
Exercise is one way the body recycles stress hormones and rebalances the nervous system. I highly recommend having some window of exercise, walking or even just stretching or moving throughout the day. It can feel highly satisfying to do to even a 10-15 minute run, helping the body recycle the stress hormones.
But another, even easier way is to “Bubble Up!” and it only has a few steps:
- You have to actually notice your stress, difficulty with focus or cravings.
- Take 3 clearing breaths and relax your mind going internal.
- Then swoosh yourself with “healing light”
- Reset your Bubble…Easy Peesy!
Here’s what I use my bubble for:
Refocusing during the day.
When someone cuts you off in traffic.
Political memes that anger the blood, yes I’m human.
Cravings.
Confidence before creating videos.
You can use it for anything, to clear out the mental clutter, refocus your mind, clear your energetic self, redirect your attention and also….
Reset your Unconscious Mind to what you really want.
You can also find the download in the store, I developed this as a product because although the steps are simple, its often easier to follow someone else guiding you through it, especially when you’re nervous system is in even mild fight or flight, you feel scattered thinking, difficulty focus, can’t prioritize or find yourself running down rabbitholes.
