Communication Habits that Interfere with our Connections and Our Relationships
We are all creatures of habit. We have obvious habits in what we do, but we also have habits in what we think and how we feel and its these thinking and feeling habits that the unconscious mind runs automatically. These inner and even hidden habits at the unconscious level keep us stuck in ruts of communication that could be interfering with your connections and relationships.

In our communication we also have habits that have everything to do with these inner thoughts and feelings.
Our brains get wired from our past history, the experiences that we have and even more importantly the decisions that we made about who we are and how the world works. In our history there are also experiences where we took on ideas of ‘not enough’ or I’m not worthy and deserving, or I don’t belong.
These old ideas and emotions become triggers. So when we find ourselves in a conversation and someone unknowingly (or knowingly) says that we are not enough or don’t belong, this old history gets fired up and we have an emotional explosion.
When we get emotional, we fail to use logic and our niceness goes out the window. These emotional triggers and blowups then add the emotional environment of our relationships and connections.
In working to clear out old habits, patterns and programs (what the brain is running automatically) there are two aspects. Firstly, clear up the negative history and decommission the emotional triggers and landmines. Then secondly, to wire into the brain the positive habits, patterns and programs that help us be more intentional, more aware, more compassionate with ourselves and others so we can utlimately be more at ease in our relationships.
